Making your first moves in Number Recall
Read the aim of Number Recall, then make your first move. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Use the example below to understand a decision. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Look at what changes after your first action.
A focus for your next round
Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Keep the objective visible.
Understand the aim
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Try to explain the aim in your own words.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
How to interact with the game
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. Use the control method described here for this activity. A new-round button replaces the current round.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Consider the next action carefully.
Check this before moving on
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
