TriPeaks Solitaire: instructions and practice
Take a moment with TriPeaks Solitaire before moving to another game. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.
Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.
Practice beyond the first move
Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Use the example to check your reasoning.
The goal to keep in mind
Remove all three peaks from the tableau. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Check the rules when you are unsure.
Making your moves
- Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
- Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
- Draw when useful.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Choosing and moving on screen
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.
A closer look at one example
Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Take a moment to compare.
One detail worth checking
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
